Refreshing Spirulina Lemon Pops
An on-the-go snack to keep you energized and satisfied! A healthy summer treat for the kids.
INGREDIENTS
1 cup pitted dates (about 15 dates)
1/2 cup almonds
2T almond butter
3/4 cup oats
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
INSTRUCTIONS
Place all ingredients into a food processor and process on high until well combined and a dough mixture has formed. It may take several minutes. Once done, it should be a thick dough that sticks together.
Using your hands, roll dough into small bite-sized energy bites.
Store in the freezer for 2-3 months or in the refrigerator for 2 weeks. I typically store mine in a large freezer-safe ziplock bag in the freezer and take them out as needed.
